How to create your own NFT on Xenwave™

Xenwave™ NFT Marketplace offers a very user-friendly way for you to create your own NFT. These are minted to our "Community Collection" and permanently recorded on the blockchain.

Step 1

Use the main menu to find the option NFTs > Create NFT.

Step 2

Use the Upload button or drag and drop your NFT media to the form. Commonly used formats are JPG and PNG, but other formats might be supported.

Step 3

Fill out the remainder of the form adding the following information:

• NFT Title: Will be the title of your NFT, we recommend you use a short and descriptive title.

• Royalty Rate: This defines the royalty percentage paid to you when your NFT is traded in the open market. The default rate is 5%. Higher rates might make your NFT less attractive to potential buyers.

• Description: A short to medium description about your NFT. Here you can add general information about the "why's" and "how's" of your NFT and tell users a little bit more about your work.

Step 4

Click on Create NFT to send the transaction to your wallet.

Important: If this is the first time you are doing this, you will be asked to approve a spending limit so the marketplace can deduct the minting fees from you. If you are prompted to Approve STRAT you will need to have it approved BEFORE minting your NFT, otherwise the operation may fail.

Step 5

After your NFT is minted, you will be able to see it in your My Profile page. Sometimes it will take a few minutes before your NFT is properly indexed and shows up on your wallet.
